Nuron is the latest addition to the cordless portfolio of Hilti, the construction tools and equipment manufacturer. It provides a single battery platform for all Hilti cordless tools. With Nuron, contractors can perform light- to heavy-duty jobs—from screwdriving to concrete cutting—using the same set of interchangeable 22V Nuron batteries.
The platform is connected, which allows access to a range of data-driven services designed to simplify equipment management. Each tool generates data that is saved to the attached battery. While the battery is charging, the data is sent via mobile network to a secured cloud.
The manufacturer’s other battery platforms include a 12V platform for light-duty applications. Hilti will continue to provide and support customers with our earlier 22V platform and 36V platforms. An adapter allows the use of almost all existing 22V tools with Nuron batteries.
